Hello blog friends. I recently bought some spring beauty items that I'm loving from Ulta Beauty. I thought it would be a fun idea to share some of them with you.
I was interested in buying some new self-tanners that didn't have a bad smell. In the past, I used to buy the St. Tropez Self-Tanning lotion from Ulta but it had a smell and the cost was $42 for a tube. I decided to take a look at some YouTube videos and I discovered Abbey Yung who reviews a lot of self-tanners. She recommended the self-tanners shown below.
Tanologist Face & Body Drops
I love using Tanologist Face & Body Drops with my Aveeno cream. I take my cream and add two drops and mix them and apply it to my face evenly. In a few hours, I have a light tan. There is no smell to this product and the drops are clear liquid. You can also apply these tanning drops to your body. The price is $19 for 1.0 oz. I bought it in the medium shade.
Tanologist Express Tan Mousse
I love using this Tanologist self-tanning mousse. It's so easy to apply to your body with a Tanning Mitt. I love that the mousse comes out in a clear foam and there is no smell to this product. In a few hours, you have a golden tan. I found no streaking on my skin with this self-tanning product. For a 6.7 ounce bottle, it's only $16.99 and I bought the medium shade.
** There was no sticky feeling after using both of the self-tanning products.
E.L.F. Camo CC Cream
I was interested in trying out this E.L.F. Camo CC Cream. I like that this CC Cream has an SPF of 30. I thought that this would be good to use for the spring and summer months to protect my face from the sun. The color I picked is Fair 140W and the shade is a little too light for me. It's a little hard trying out a skin color by looking at a chart online. I think this shade will be good to use mixed with a darker shade or I can just use this for the winter months. It was $14 for the tube at Ulta.
Maybelline Lash Sensational Sky High Mascara
I was so excited to try out this Maybelline Mascara after seeing its trend on Instagram Reels. I love how this mascara makes my lashes look so long without even curling my eyelashes. I liked this so much that I bought a tube for my daughter for her birthday! The price is $11.49 a tube from Ulta. I like buying some of the drugstore brand mascara's and how well they work instead of buying high-end mascara.
Kate Spade New York Perfume
I took a chance by buying this Kate Spade New York Perfume for my daughter's birthday. We both like the way this perfume smells and it has a light scent that is not overpowering. Ulta had a special when you buy a perfume you could get a bag for free.
This is the free bag that came when you made a perfume purchase. This bag will make a great beach bag for my daughter to use this summer.

1. Pravana Color Protect Shampoo
I received a small sample of this shampoo from my last Ulta Beauty haul during Christmas. In case you missed that blog post, you can read it here. I loved using this shampoo and it made my hair feel soft and helped to protect my hair color. This bottle is 11oz. and costs $19.00 and says it ensures the color to last up to 60 washes.

2. NYX Retractable Eyeliner
I bought another eyeliner in the color, Golden Olive. The price is only $5.50 and you can't beat this price point. This eyeliner glides on the eyelid easily and lasts a long time. Olive eyeliner is one of my favorite colors.

3. Maybelline Colossal Volum' Express Mascara
I received a small sample of this mascara from my Ulta Beauty haul back in December. I like the way this mascara works as it made my lashes look long, no clumping, and the mascara doesn't flake off. The price was only $7.99 a tube and the color is 231 Classic Black.
4. Maybelline Instant Age Rewind Dark Circle Treatment Concealer
This concealer is my all-time favorite and I have been using this for years. I tend to switch between different shades of this concealer depending on the time of year. During the winter months, I use a light shade and in the summer I use a darker shade. This color is 110 in the shade Fair and the price is only $9.99.
5. Milani Rose Powder Blush
I saw a review of this blush from the YouTuber Risa Does Makeup. She did a dupe video on makeup and compares this blush to Tarte Amazonian Clay 12 Hour Blush. I've been using Tarte blush for years and the cost is $29. I was excited when Risa compared the Tarte blush to the Milani blush. The Milani blush is only $9.49 and this color is Blossomtime Rose. This Milani blush is available at Walgreens and Walmart, and it's similar to the Tarte blush. I'm happy I saved $19.51 as that's a huge saving. I will now be using the Milani blush from now on.
This is some of my favorite makeup items and thought you might like to try one. Small things like this make me happy. 😀
