I posted this blog post back in 2013 after taking a trip to London, England. I thought I would repost this again since it's summertime.
This has got to be my favorite summer drink after taking a trip to London, England. My husband's friend Joe introduced us to this drink after sightseeing one afternoon with him and his wife in England.
SUMMER SHANDY RECIPE
Ingredients:
1 bottle/can beer - I used 8 oz. of Sapporo Beer - (You can use any beer you like)
4 oz. Sparking Lemonade Soda
Instructions:
The above picture has 8 oz. of beer and 4 oz. sparkling lemonade soda. Combine all the ingredients and garnish with a lemon wedge.
The pub is the white building which is located on the right after the blue building. We all sat outside the pub and enjoyed our Shandy drinks.
This drink is so refreshing on a hot summer evening. Enjoy!
How would you like to have a large glass of sun tea? Well, if you have a large jug like the one I have then you can make this Sun Tea. It is so refreshing to drink on a hot summer day. I used a cute mason jar and sliced up lemons to add and a bright pink straw.
This is the jug that I used and I just set it in the sun in my yard. I used 5 tea bags and when the tea looks dark after a few hours just bring it inside, take out the tea bags and there you have your Sun Tea. It is so good that you don't need to add any sugar.
Thanks everyone and enjoy.

How about making Sun Tea for a cool refreshing drink this summer?

I hope everyone had a great long weekend! Now that summer is approaching, how would you like to have a glass of refreshing Iced White Tea? Well it is such a healthy tea to drink and it is so easy to make. I want to share it with you how I make this at home.
First fill a large pot with water and boil.
This is what the pearls look like.
For a large pot I usually use 6 pearls and add this into a tea infuser and then put this into a pot of boiling water and let steep for 5 minutes.
Thanks everyone and enjoy.

This is the container of the White Tea that I use. It is Teavana and I use the Silver Yin Zhen Pearls White Tea. I bought this in the Teavana store in New Jersey at the Garden State Plaza Mall.

Take the tea infuser out of the water after 5 minutes of steeping and let the pot of tea cool off.
This is what the tea leaves look like when you take the infuser out of the water after 5 minutes.
When the pot of white tea cools off you can pour it into a large pitcher and there you have your Iced White Tea! It's so cool and refreshing! If you do not like your tea iced then you can drink it hot!
I added to the glass of iced tea, mint leaves that are growing in my container garden in my yard!
Why not try this tea? I know you are going to love it and it's healthy too. It tastes so good that you don't even need sugar in it. Let me know how it you like it!
