Hello friends. Happy Halloween!
HERE ARE THE QUESTIONS:
1. Our favorite Halloween tradition when my daughter was little was to get her dressed up in a Halloween costume and go trick-or-treating with friends and neighbors.

2. We have always had an easy dinner on Halloween. We like pizza, or I'd sometimes make a crockpot meal.
3. On Halloween, we now dress up Lucy in a costume and hand out candy to the trick-or-treaters. I love seeing all of the kids' costumes. Last year, Lucy was dressed up like a shark.
4. I don't paint or carve pumpkins. I like to put out pumpkins on my stoop with mums. The squirrels will sometimes eat the pumpkins. :(
5. My favorite Halloween candy is small-sized chocolate candy.
6. I'm giving out Dots, Tootsie Rolls, and Tootsie Roll Pops.
7. I love fun-size candy.
8. One of my favorite costumes my daughter wore was when she was dressed up like Hana Montana - Miley Cyrus.
9. My favorite Halloween movies are: Hocus Pocus, Hocus Pocus 2, Disney's Haunted Mansion, and It's the Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown.
10. I stop handing out candy on Halloween around 8:30/9:00pm.

Hello friends.
It's the second Monday of the month, which means it's time for the Share Our Lives Link Up.
This months topic is Go To Snacks!
Below are some of the things I like to snack on in the morning or early afternoon.
I love snacking on yogurt with the fruit on the bottom.
I love cottage cheese and I will sometimes have it on the side of my sandwich at lunchtime.
I know Cheez It's are bad, but I love eating a handful of these if I'm hungry right before we eat dinner. I usually have a few while I'm cooking dinner.
I enjoy snacking on Blue Diamond Smokehouse Almonds.
I love Dot's pretzels and we buy them at Costco. They taste great dipped in hummus. Roasted Pine Nut is a favorite hummus.
We will buy a large bag Skinny Pop on occasion at Costco.
Grillo's pickles are one of my favorite snacks. We usually buy them at Costco.
I also love snacking on apples and summer fruits like cherries, peaches, and watermelon.

Happy October friends! 🎃
I'm joining Jenn for her Currently link-up. It's held on the first Wednesday of each month and lasts about two weeks. This month, we are sharing what we are loving, anticipating, looking forward to, wearing, and cooking.
LOVING: I recently visited my nail salon with my daughter, and I'm loving this brown nail polish color for fall.
ANTICIPATING: I'm anticipating that I'll be making lists and shopping for the holidays soon.
LOOKING FORWARD TO: Going to Ranger hockey games with my husband. He is a huge fan, and it's always fun watching a game at Madison Square Garden in New York City.
WEARING: I've been wearing workout clothes to the gym. It's been very warm here and summer-like weather. When I'm home, I've been wearing shorts or sweat pants and T-shirts. If it's cooler in the morning, I will start out wearing a T-shirt and a sweatshirt. If I'm going out during the day, I'll wear jeans and a nice blouse or top with fashionable sneakers.
COOKING: I've been cooking easy meals like this soup. I've also been making pasta using Victoria marinara sauce from Costco.

Hello friends.
We are continuing our Rome and London trip 2025. In case you missed any blog posts, you can click the links below.
We were up early on Saturday morning, June 7, 2025, and had a wonderful breakfast at The Breakfast Club.
I enjoyed my blueberry pancakes and bacon, that was so yummy tasting.
It was another cold and gloomy day, and we were on our way to Westminster Abbey.
You can see Big Ben in the distance.
Below is a barricaded statue of Winston Churchill.
Before we got into see Westminster Abbey, my daughter ordered us tickets. I visited Westminster Abbey with my daughter in 2023, and we loved it.
This is one of my favorite statues in Westminster Abbey.
Next on our agenda was to visit Buckingham Palace. We didn't see the inside, but I've been inside many years ago.
That evening, we went to a nearby Indian restaurant for dinner. It rained so hard on the way there and we didn't have any umbrellas with us. P.S. We were all soaking wet when we got to the restaurant! I can't remember the name of the restaurant but the food was good. After dinner, we went back to our apartment and packed because we were leaving the next morning, Sunday, June 8, 2025, for the airport. We flew home on Norse Atlantic Airways. This time unfortunately, we did not have the premium seating. My husband and I sat together, and my daughter was in a seat across from us. We had no problems with the flight going home.
We were all prepared for the way we were dressed and the weather in Rome. We were not prepared for the cooler and rainy weather in London. It was so cold that I could have worn a raincoat. I had only a few long-sleeved tops and I had to lend my daughter some of my tops to wear. Thankfully, I had a light jean jacket to wear. My husband wore three shirts one day while we were out sightseeing. We all had a nice weekend in London and a great way to end our trip.
I loved visiting Rome, and I can't wait to explore more of Italy in the future. I love London and hope to visit the countryside the next time I'm in England.
