Hello friends, Happy March. I'm linking up with Jennifer from Overflowing with Thankfulness for her Currently link-up. We will be sharing this month what we are loving, looking forward to, planning, wearing, and eating.
LOVING: We recently watched two Yorkie's, named Darcy and Watson. The last time we watched them was for Thanksgiving weekend. These are the cutest dogs and they are well behaved. They are related, the dog on the right (Darcy) is the father, and the son (Watson) is on the left. We had so much fun with the dogs and we can't wait to watch them again.
LOOKING FORWARD TO: I'm looking forward to the start of spring in a few weeks. I love the warmer weather and the pretty spring flowers. I also can't wait for the summer and going to the beach. My husband and I took a ride to the Jersey Shore a few weeks ago and I took this photo of the ocean and beach. It was so calming looking at the water and walking on the beach.
PLANNING: The Macy's Flower Show is an event I look forward to visiting each year. I'm looking forward to seeing all of the beautiful flower displays this year. It will be held this year at Macy's Herald Square from March 24th to April 7th.
WEARING: I've been wearing a lot of comfortable and athletic wear clothes during the week. I go to my gym at least three to four times a week so I live in leggings, a t-shirt, and a sweatshirt.
EATING: I recently went to a local Greek restaurant with my husband. We both had beer, shared grilled octopus, and I got a lamb kabob with roasted lemon potatoes and a greek salad. It was so good but a lot of food, so I took half of it home to eat the next day. My husband had a burger and rice.
I've been making this egg bake for a week day breakfast for our family. It tastes so good and it's easy to make.
When we don't have the egg bake for breakfast, my husband either makes for us a protein shake or yogurt with granola, fruit, and honey. On the weekend he will make me one egg over easy with toast. I love that he makes for me breakfast most mornings.

That's so nice about hubby making you breakfast!! I still need to try that egg bake one of these days. It would be nice to have it meal prepped. I look forward to your Flower Show posts. Good for you getting to the gym a lot, it always seems harder in the cold weather. Those yorkies are adorable!! The ocean calms me too, I'm looking forward to lots of beach walks and warmer weather.
ReplyDeleteThose pups are so sweet. Glad you can get a little dog fix with watching them. I know you miss Bosco. The egg bake sounds yummy. I cannot wait to see the Macy's pics of the flower show. I wish the Macy in Chicago would do that. Happy Wednesday. Hugs. Kris

ReplyDeleteAll your food sounds so wonderful! I hope you have a wonderful time at the flower show.
ReplyDeleteThose dogs are so cute! I love that picture of the beach - I used to live on the (south) Jersey shore, so there's some familiarity to that view!

ReplyDeleteI love seeing your cute and comfortable clothes. I wear outfits to hike in and I'm trying to add a few more items that look a little better! lol I'm wearing beaded bracelets every time I hike now and that makes me happy. Hugs!
ReplyDeleteThose Yorkies are adorable, Julie! I remember that cute outfit you wore at the flower show. I’m at the gym 4 times a week and live in comfy clothes, too. I know you’re looking forward to summer and beach time. I eat my crustless quiche everyday except on Friday, I eat a high protein yogurt that I love, with berries. It’s called ratio:protein and has 25 grams of protein.
ReplyDeleteI hope you have a great weekend!
Cute Yorkies! Love that recipes...not a chilies fan so may try it with chopped broccoli !
ReplyDeleteThose are the cutest little guys!
ReplyDeleteReally looking forward to spring as well.. the weather warming up.
I'm belatedly catching up on my "Currently" posts. I would LOVE to live close enough to the shore to bike there. How lovely! And now going to the Macy's Flower Show is on my bucket list. It looks amazing!!!
