Hello friends and happy September!
I can't believe it's already the beginning of September especially when the weather is in the 90s here. I hope you all enjoyed Labor Day weekend. The summer seemed to fly by so fast for me and I'm looking forward to cooler temperatures.
Today, I'm linking up with Jennifer from Overflowing With Thankfulness for what I'm loving, seeing, dreaming, eating, and using to decorate. This link-up is held on the first Wednesday of each month.
LOVING: I met up with my daughter a few weeks ago after she got done with work to go to the movies. We saw the funny comedy Haunted Mansion. It was an enjoyable evening and we both liked the movie. The theatre also served drinks and dinner. It was so much fun to watch the movie and eat our dinner at the same time!
SEEING: We saw a new stray kitten hanging out in our yard recently soaking up the sun.
We were surprised because we usually see the stray cat, Gracie. I haven't seen Gracie and I'm hoping we have a visit from her soon.
DREAMING: I'm dreaming of fall. When the weather gets cooler, I love decorating my stoop with pumpkins and mums.
EATING: I want to try and eat more salads, vegetables, and healthy foods. I enjoyed this Greek salad that I had at a local restaurant in our neighborhood. I look forward to making soups and crockpot meals.
USING TO DECORATE: I have not decorated my house yet for fall. When I decorate my kitchen and living room mantel, I will use these tiny crochet pumpkins that I crocheted many years ago.

That new kitten is so cute. I was wondering how Gracie was. Hopefully she'll come back soon. That Greek salad sounds so good. I can't wait to decorate for fall. I'm starting with little bits here and there but haven't brought down my crates from the attic yet. Soon! I want to see Haunted Mansion, it looks good. How fun to eat dinner while watching the movie. Those crochet pumpkins are so cute!

Actually after today and the rain moves out it is suppose to drop 20 degrees and be more fall like here. I am anxious to see the 90 degree days go. Have a good rest of the week. Hugs. Kris
ReplyDeleteLove your tiny pumpkins! I miss our theatre that served meals, it was fun to have dinner with the movie. Our temperatures are cooling down and I am decorating for autumn - love this time of year!

ReplyDeleteI'm with you, with 90's still rampant in the Chicago area...I just can't do all out FALL. But, the signs are there, the garden has slowed already and denying the hot temps and following the sun's triggers. I guess, it won't kick in for us mortals as we are more attuned to the temps than the sun. Lovely photos, and we will straggle into Fall in our own good time! Hugs, Sandi

Such a cute kitty. Fall is coming. The temps are winding down. No fall decor here yet. The Greek salad looks wonderful. Dinner and a movie is a great concept. We have one here too. The crocheted pumpkin are adorable.

ReplyDeleteI'll be happy for cooler temps too. And I threw a Fall throw over the back of the sofa and now I'm decorated for Fall! Love your crochet creations...always!

ReplyDeleteOh my, that kitten! I could just scoop her up. How sweet! It's been so hot and we just returned from a late summer ocean vacation that I haven't thought about fall yet, but it's coming. I'm already planning a trip to the pumpkin patch!
