Happy Friday! What a week of events. I hope you all enjoyed the super bowl on Sunday. We also had Valentine's Day this week. I hope you enjoy my Friday Favorites.
We just saw Jerry Seinfeld for the second time perform two weeks ago at the Beacon Theatre. It was one of the coldest nights we had this winter. The first time we saw Jerry perform was right before the pandemic. Jerry had a comedian perform before he came out who was funny. We love Jerry Seinfeld and we had a lot of laughs.
We ordered Domino's pizza for Sunday to watch the super bowl game. We ordered pizza, cheesy bread, wings, and loaded tater tots. We also enjoyed the leftovers the next day.
I am enjoying the TV series Gilmore Girls. I love the relationship between Loreli and Rory.
I enjoy taking yoga classes at least two to three times a week at my gym. This week the teacher said I was doing a good job. I feel like I am getting stronger, it's great for my balance, and a stress reliever.
I also took a half-hour express weights class this week. I want to look good for the spring and summer which will be upon us soon.
To celebrate Valentine's Day on Tuesday my husband, daughter, and I went to our local diner for dinner. We had a good time together and sometimes it's the casual places that are the most fun.
I had pancakes, bacon, and decaf coffee. The pancakes and bacon were so good. I cannot make good pancakes for the life of me. They always come out thin and small.
My husband had a gyro wrap, salad, and water.
My daughter enjoyed a feta omelet, french fries, and iced tea.
I hope you all had a good week. Wishing you a happy Friday and weekend.

Sounds like a fun week!
ReplyDeleteThanks Joanne and yes it was a fun week.
DeleteI love all of your yummy food. Do you use buttermilk in your pancake recipe? It makes ALL the difference!
ReplyDeleteLooks like you had a full and fun week. Have a good weekend. Hugs. Kris
ReplyDeleteYou had some great Favorites! I remember how cold that weekend was when you went to see Seinfeld. FREEZING! I'm sure he was great. I love taking yoga too. I miss going to in person classes. I need to get back to that. The weights class sounded good too. Your super bowl food looked so good! Also going to the diner for Valentine's Day sounded so nice. Those pancakes looked amazing. I'm horrible at making pancakes! I hope you have a great weekend Julie!
ReplyDeleteA fun filled week a Julie. My husband really like Seinfeld. How special to see him perform. The food sounds great. We love gyros. I wonder why you have issues making pancakes. Enjoy the weekend.
ReplyDeleteYou make me hungry for pancakes! I absolutely love Jerry Seinfeld but I did hear he is not very kind to his fans even fellow famous people. Demi Lovato asked him for a hug one time and this was before the pandemic and he would not do it he was like who are you? But non the less a hoot and what fun.
ReplyDeleteThat diner food looks exceptionally delicious! How fun to see Jerry Seinfeld. I used to love his show...such a classic. Hope you have a wonderful weekend!
ReplyDeleteDiner food is the best!! Jerry Seinfeld is super funny and the Beacon theater is a great, intimate venue. My daughter saw Demi Lovato there last year. Twice! Enjoy the weekend!!
ReplyDeleteLove food at a diner....especially breakfast! Glad yoga is working for you - we are taking a Balance Class for 12 weeks. I thought I would "test out" at the evaluation - nope. Yoga might be good when the class is over. Glad you had a great Valentines - have a great week !
ReplyDeleteAnn, good luck with your balance class. I hope you have a nice weekend and week.
