Crochet Chonky Bee Pillow

January 25, 2021

Hello blog friends.  I finally finished crocheting the chonky bee pillow for my daughter.  I finished the bee back in the middle of December.  I'm happy that I can finally share with you this project.

My daughter and I are both happy with the way the bee pillow turned out.  I bought the pattern to make the pillow from Etsy.

I bought the yellow, black, and white yarn, Gorilla Glue hot glue gun, and glue sticks online from Joanns.  I bought a bag of multi-colored felt and stuffing for the bee from Amazon.

This project took me a while to make but I think the bee is so cute and it's a huge soft pillow.  This was the first time I've attempted to crochet anything like this.  I'm happy I challenged myself to make something fun besides crocheting a scarf.

I also crocheted a stuffed Appa for my daughter that she has on her college dorm room bed.

We added the bee under the Christmas tree with my daughter's collection of stuffed Star Wars Squishmallows.

CROCHET CHONKY BEE PILLOW!

I hope I've inspired you to crochet a bee pillow.  This makes a great pillow for anyone.

My next project will be making another crochet Appa for my daughter's friend.

Are you working on any fun projects?

  14. The bee is awesome. My son had a kindergarten teacher who loved bees. That's what all of the parents gifted her. She'd have loved this handmade one!
