Birthday Celebration

Friday was my husband's birthday and we celebrated it by having dinner at dell'anima which means "of the soul" in Italian. The restaurant is located in the heart of New York City's West Village. We drove in by car and this is the shot I got of us driving on the Brooklyn Bridge.

This is what the bar area looks like. It is not a large restaurant, but the food is amazing!

Here are some of the dishes we had.

On the dessert menu it had a dish called Fruitti Di Bosco Trifle, which we all thought was funny, since our dogs name is Bosco. It is the second dessert listed on the menu located on the top left.

The dinner was so amazing and the food delicious and afterward we walked around the neighborhood.

We had so much fun celebrating my husband's birthday. He has declared that we will be celebrating it this week too!

Happy belated to the hubs...not that it matters that I am late, since he is celebrating it again this week LOL! The food looks amazing Julie! Someday we'll get to NYC and try some good, authentic Italian cuisine!
