Meeting a Blogger on my CA Vacation

July 1, 2015

Hi friends.  I was recently on vacation in California and I had the wonderful opportunity to meet with Mary, a blogger!

Mary and I had lunch together at the Cheesecake Factory in Marina Del Rey, California.  We sat outside and enjoyed our salads.  We had so much fun talking and catching up with each other.  This is my first time meeting a blogger and it's the highlight of my 2 1/2 years of blogging.  I have been blog friends with Mary and it was so nice to meet her in person.  Mary has a lovely blog called My Dogs My Garden and Mary.

I had so much fun with Mary and the lunch went so fast that I wished I had more time to spend with her.  I am looking forward to meeting up with her again in the future.

I was given a pretty card and little clay pots to use for napkin rings and handmade napkins made by Mary.  I just love the pretty colors of the fabric and they match with my china.

Thanks so much Mary for a nice lunch and I am so glad we had the opportunity to meet with each other.  Cheers to blog friends and friendship!

Have you had the opportunity to meet a blog friend?

  8. Julie- I just LOVE Mary! She and I have been blogging friends for quite a while. I KNEW she would be as great in person as she seems on her blog. She is such an interesting lady. She has been carrying water non-stop to her gardens lately she said. So glad you had the opportunity to meet her and what a sweet gift. xo Diana

  12. Thanks so much for bragging about me LOL. I so enjoyed our visit together the only thing wrong was not enough time to visit. We were going to have a piece of Cheese Cake, but there are 1,500 carbs in that one piece of Cheese Cake, so we opted not to have dessert, We are watching our girlish figures LOL.
I enjoyed our visit so much Julie and I do hope that we will meet again.
Have a wonderful 4th. Your coasters are being used and I like them very much. I put them in a tablescape, which I hope to post tomorrow.
    Hugs to you Julie.
