Birthday Dinner

January 1, 2015

Hi friends, a few days ago we celebrated my birthday at a restaurant called Antica Pesa.  It is one of the best Italian restaurants that I have been to.  To read more about the restaurant you can click here.  I loved it so much that I took some pictures to share with you.

Here is the menu.

The bread is so amazing and they serve it in a wooden box.

We shared two appetizers.  The first appetizer was fried artichoke.

The second was a squid appetizer that was delicious.

My entree was tagliatelle with a wild boar sauce.

My husband had codfish.

My daughter had artichoke ravioli.

My husband and I shared tiramisu and my daughter had tangerine sorbet (not shown).

This is how they served us different types of sugar.

To end the meal I had earl grey tea.

I had so much fun celebrating my birthday at this amazing restaurant.  I highly recommend it and you can check out on their website to see the many celebrities who have eaten there.  I hope you enjoyed looking at my photos.

  20. Happy Birthday, Julie! Your meal looks delicious so glad you had a great time. Sounds like we both have birthdays in December...mine was on Dec. 18th, a week before Christmas. We parents tell me they were so poor that year I was the only thing they got for Christmas!
