HAPPY NOVEMBER!

Hello friends and happy November.

I hope everyone had a happy Halloween.  I can't believe how fast the time is flying by and before you know it we'll be celebrating Thanksgiving and the holidays.

Today I linking up with Jennifer from Overflowing with Thankfulness and sharing what I'm loving, buying, prepping, borrowing, and planning.

LOVING:  I'm excited that we will be celebrating Thanksgiving in a few weeks.  It's a wonderful time of year to be with family and friends.

BUYING:  We've recently had some renovations done to our house.  We had a new garage door installed, a new toilet put into our basement bathroom, a new back door, and a new light fixture for our front stoop.  Lately I've also been buying some winter clothes, and Christmas gifts.

PREPPING:  I'm preparing for Thanksgiving since I will be hosting it this year.  I alternate taking turns hosting Thanksgiving and Christmas with my brother and sister-in-law and their kids.

BORROWING:  I don't think I'll be borrowing anything anytime soon.

PLANNING:  I will be busy planning the menu and everything for Thanksgiving.  I'm also making plans for the holidays.

What is currently new with you?

  1. I can't believe we're in November already! Hosting Thanksgiving is a lot but prepping is the key! It sounds like you've gotten a lot done at your house. That always feels good. Buying some Christmas gifts is great too. I need to get on that! I hope you're having a great week Julie!

  6. Julie,
I too am looking forward to Thanksgiving but I think it may be just 3 of us as my Dil will be close to 8 months pregnant with the twins and even though they live right down the road, I just may deliver food to them so she does not have to go out if she is still working by then....Thanks so much for stopping by!!
    Hugs,

  9. I can’t believe how quickly the seasons fly by, Julie. Sounds like a busy November for you. I had to have a new roof, paint, gutters and pergola and fence stained due to hail damage. I’m also getting my front landscape replaced which will be a nice change. Happy November! 🍂🍁🍂

  10. I really need to be buying some winter clothes as well. Perhaps I can add those to my Christmas list. I always draw a blank when asked what I would like for Christmas!? Enjoy the Thanksgiving preparations:I)

  11. This year went by so fast - I can't believe it is already November! So nice that you are hosting Thanksgiving this year. It's quite an undertaking and I know your family must appreciate it. It's always nice to get some home improvement projects done in time for the holidays, too. We are going to my son's house for Thanksgiving and then another celebration at my daughter's house for the whole family on Saturday after the holiday. I'm baking the pies. Hope your week is calm and peaceful before the rush of the holidays! Hugs xo K
