Hello friends. Do you ever run out of ideas to make for dinner? Well, I have an easy air fryer meal to share with you. It's air fryer chicken fajitas.
The seasoning, chicken, and veggies prepared before going into the air fryer.
The cooked air fryer chicken fajitas.
Listed below are the ingredients you will need for the fajitas.
This is a fun meal to make for your family for dinner. I hope you enjoy this as much as my family.
AIR FRYER CHICKEN FAJITAS
INGREDIENTS:
- 1 lb. chicken tenders, cut into strips
- 3 teaspoons taco seasoning
- 3 teaspoons olive oil
- salt & pepper to taste
- 1 red bell pepper, cut into strips
- 1 orange bell pepper, cut into strips
- 1 onion, cut into strips
- flour tortillas
- white or brown rice
DIRECTIONS:
- Preheat air fryer to 380 degrees F.
- Cut chicken tenders into strips.
- Place chicken, peppers, onion, olive oil, salt & pepper, and taco seasoning into a bowl.
- Mix everything together.
- Let mixture sit in the refrigerator for at least 20 minutes. When ready to cook set chicken & veggies out to get to room temperature.
- Preheat air fryer. Spray air fryer with cooking spray. Place everything in air fryer when ready to cook.
- Air fry 380 degrees F for 9 minutes, shake & mix everything, then cook for another 9 minutes. Check if chicken is cooked.
- Divide equal amounts of chicken, peppers, & onion into tortillas.
NOTES: I made white rice to add to the tortillas. You can add salsa, guacamole, or sour cream on top of your tortillas. Use any toppings you like for your tortillas. I cooked the chicken and veggies all together in the air fryer.
*Taco Seasoning I used.

We just had fajitas last night! I never thought of cooking them in the air fryer though; I had 4 pots/pans going last night-- one for chicken tenderloins, one for the peppers/onions/mushrooms (that my boys won't eat), one for rice and one for riced cauliflower for me. The boys all had traditional fajitas with tomatoes, cheese, and lettuce while my husband and I made fajita bowls without any tortillas.
