Happy Friday and welcome to my Friday Favorites Fall.
I was happy to see the Harry Styles Love On Tour concert with my daughter. We saw him last month and it was held at Madison Square Garden in New York City. We had so much fun and Harry Styles puts on a great show. We had a fun time picking out concert merch.
I saw the movie Don't Worry Darling with a friend of mine. I enjoyed this movie after seeing the Harry Styles Love on Tour concert. Here's the summary of the movie:
In the 1950s, Alice and Jack live in the idealized community of Victory, an experimental company town that houses the men who work on a top-secret project. While the husbands toil away, the wives get to enjoy the beauty, luxury and debauchery of their seemingly perfect paradise. However, when cracks in her idyllic life begin to appear, exposing flashes of something sinister lurking below the surface, Alice can't help but question exactly what she's doing in Victory.
I like watching Halloween movies that aren't too scary. We recently enjoyed the movie Hocus Pocus on Disney +. I'm looking forward to watching Hocus Pocus 2. Here is a summary of the movie:
After moving to Salem, Mass., teenager Max Dennison (Omri Katz) explores an abandoned house with his sister Dani (Thora Birch) and their new friend, Allison (Vinessa Shaw). After dismissing a story Allison tells as superstitious, Max accidentally frees a coven of evil witches (Bette Midler, Sarah Jessica Parker, Kathy Najimy) who used to live in the house. Now, with the help of a magical cat, the kids must steal the witches' book of spells to stop them from becoming immortal.
Each fall I love getting a Dunkin' pumpkin muffin. They have good pumpkin donuts too. I know a lot of people like pumpkin spice lattes but I've tried and I just don't like them.
I saw this cute sign in our local coffee shop.
We enjoyed visiting a new Trader Joe's that just opened up near us. I love this pumpkin and gourd display. I'm hoping to visit this store again.
I like decorating my front stoop with mums and pumpkins. A squirrel has already enjoyed chomping on one of the pumpkins. 😠
Our neighborhood goes all out with decorating for Halloween. This one is decorated with skulls and scary decorations. I've seen so many houses decorated with skeletons this year. I always decorate the outside of my house with cute decorations.
I love crocheting mini pumpkins. I like decorating my mantel each fall with them. To make a crochet pumpkin, you can find the crochet pattern here.
I'm not sure what is happening with Blogger, but some of your comments are not appearing in the comments section of my blog posts. I want to let you know that I do receive your comments and I read your emails.
Thank you to everyone who played along with my This or That - Cat or Dog blog post. The majority of you like Dogs.

This really puts me in the mood for all things fall! I love that sign. That skeleton decorated house is so cool. I've noticed a lot of people decorating with them too. I'm loving how people go all out. That muffin looks so good. I'm glad you made it to the new TJ's. It's a good one! I need to get on a TJ's run soon. That concert looked great and the movie sounds interesting!
ReplyDeleteIt seems that everyone I know who has a daughter went to see Harry Styles! I'm with you on the pumpkin lattes - I love pumpkin everything ( and the Dunkin muffin looks amazing), but pumpkin spice coffee just doesn't taste good to me. The coffee sign made me laugh, though! A Trader Joe's in the neighborhood is a great thing! I think I'm at mine twice a week!
ReplyDeleteSounds like you've been doing fun things Julie! I love your crocheted pumpkins, so cute!

I love the decorations and the crochet pumpkins are so cute! Enjoy your cool day!
ReplyDeleteI have seen lots and lots of skeletons in Halloween decor too. I'm with you on the pumpkin muffins and donuts but definitely not in any of my drinks.
ReplyDeleteI love your Friday favourites Julie, I do like the look of that Dunkin' pumpkin muffin yum, have a great weekend x
ReplyDeleteI have similar problems with blogger comments. Sometimes they only show on the blog, with no email notification. And sometimes they only show on the comments section of the dashboard. I'm not sure what happens, but it is always the same commenters who have this issue. Somehow, I eventually see them all! I agree that the neighborhood Halloween decor has gotten scarier in the past few years.
ReplyDeleteGood morning, Julie. Just read your bio and realized you and I began our blogs the same year. It's amazing how much the blogworld has evolved. Glad you liked Don't Worry Darling - it got mixed reviews. I'll watch it when it comes to TV. Hope you have a wonderful week, Julie.
ReplyDeleteHi Julie - sounds like you are having a fun Fall! Thanks for sharing the Halloween decorations - love the skeletons. Yes, seems like people are doing more for the holiday....I just do a wreath and indoor decorations. Love your crochet pumpkins !
ReplyDeleteSounds like you’re having a great Fall, Julie! How nice to have a TJ’s that’s open near you. Those pesky squirrels get into everything, don’t they??!! Have a great week!
ReplyDeleteI'm not a pumpkin latte person either, and yes! to the cute decorations, not scary. :) Glad you got to see Harry Styles!
