Today is my 5th Year Blog Anniversary!

I can't believe how fast the time has gone by and that it is already five years. I remember when I first started this blog, and I had no idea what blogging was or how to write a blog post.
I got started with this blog by the help of my teenager and she encouraged me to share my recipes and crocheting with you. I am so happy that she suggested that I start a blog and I thank her for introducing me to the blogging world!
I have learned so much and I'm still learning a lot about blogging. I have enjoyed finding and reading such nice blogs and making wonderful blog friends from all over the world.
I am also inspired by all of your talents and I enjoy looking at your crafts, recipes, homes, household and decorating tips, and travel vacations. I just wish I had more time to make your recipes and crafts!
One thing that has really made me happy, is that some of you have even made my crochet projects and recipes. I do hope that I continue to inspire all of you.
You also make me so happy by your support and sharing your projects each week, at the blog party I co-host with Jess from Plucky's Second Thought. You guys are so awesome!
I even had the opportunity to meet some of you in person, and that was such an awesome experience for me. I love meeting blog friends and I hope to meet more of you in person, as I continue to blog.
Thank you for the fun five years of blogging, support, and friendship. I have loved all of your visits to my blog, and your lovely comments throughout the years.
I look forward to another fun year of blogging with you! 😀👍

Five years, wow! That is a long time. I started in 2013 and I think you are one of the first bloggers I met, Julie. I'm so glad we've become friends and one of these days, thanks to your inspiration, I will learn to crochet! Congratulations my friend! ❤️

Funny coincidence, when I was thinking about starting a blog I ran the idea by my daughter who surprised me by saying "you should do it Mom!" I started my blog in Aug 2012, so we are sort of blog sisters!
