Hello friends, I wanted to crochet something cute for St. Patrick's Day. I came across this pattern to crochet a 4 leaf clover from the website All Free Crochet. Once I learned how to crochet this clover, I made them and added a safety pin to the back of the clover.
These clovers are pretty easy and fast to make once you get the hang of it. I had fun crocheting them and I decided that I wanted to make them and give them to the women in my crochet group!
Making these crocheted clovers reminded of when I was little. My mom would give each one of us in the family a small green carnation to wear on our school uniform. It made me realize that these would be a great idea to wear for St. Patrick's Day on your coat, shirt, or hat.
Another cute idea is that you can make the clovers into a little banner for your mantel. You just make a long chain and then add the clovers to the chain stitch.
I hope I have inspired you to crochet these clovers too!

ReplyDeleteYour cloer is ever so sweet, Julie. I think you know Roxy from Living from Glory to Glory? Well, when I met her she gave me something similar to this clover and she made it into a pin which I love wearing around St. Paticks Day :) You ladies and your crocheting abilities truly amaze me. Hugs to you!
