I wanted to share with you this recipe for roasted peppers before the summer ends.
I have made these roasted peppers this summer as a side dish for many of our BBQ and get-togethers. They are a HUGE hit.
Below are all the peppers cut up and ready to be roasted in the oven.
These are so easy to prepare and make the perfect side dish for any meal.
ROASTED PEPPERS
INGREDIENTS:
1 bag of peppers - in assorted colors, cut lengthwise
cooking spray
salt and pepper to taste
DIRECTIONS:
Preheat oven to 400 degrees F. Use a large baking pan and line the pan with aluminum foil. Add cooking spray and add the cut up peppers to the pan. Spray the peppers with cooking spray such as PAM and add salt and pepper to taste. Cook for 50 minutes to 1 hour in the oven until tender and done.

This look so delicious, and like you said, great with grilled meat on the BBQ. Thanks for sharing Julie!
ReplyDeleteWe have been worldwide famous for a spread made of this kind of this kind of red peppers. It's called "ayvar" or "ајвар" in Cyrillic. Cannot link the term because I am writing this on my phone, but google it if interested :)
