Sausage and Potatoes

June 15, 2016

Hello blogging friends.  I hope you are all enjoying the week so far.

Today I have a fast and easy recipe to share with you that is made in the oven.  It's Sausage and Potatoes.

The best part about this meal is that there are only a few ingredients needed and one large pan.

This is also a great meal to make in the oven, when the weather does not permit to use a grill.

Below is everything prepared and ready to be put in the oven.

Before the oven.....

The Sausage and Potatoes all cooked and golden brown.  Yum!

And After the oven.....

SAUSAGE AND POTATOES RECIPE

INGREDIENTS:

1 large onion - peeled and chopped
3-5 potatoes - peeled and chopped
6 sweet sausage links - cut into small pieces
olive oil - 4 Tablespoons
salt and pepper to taste
Mrs. Dash Seasoning

DIRECTIONS:

Preheat Oven to 400 degrees F.  Take large baking dish and drizzle a small amount of olive oil in bottom of pan.  In baking dish add sausage, potatoes, and onion.  Then mix that together with the olive oil and seasonings.  Put pan into oven and cook for 45 minutes to 1 hour.  Check often and toss everything until potatoes are golden and sausage is cooked through.

Enjoy!

  29. Hi Julie, any meal that can be cooked in one dish is a winner! One of my favourite oven meals is lemony roast chicken with lemony potatoes, it's a family favourite.

  32. Yum is right, Julie! This looks delish! I just made sausage, peppers and onions, but sautéed the peppers and onions. This sounds easier, and I like the idea that there are potatoes in it. Thanks so much for linking up your posts at Best of the Weekend!

  33. Hi Julie, question: what kind of brand of sausage you used for this? I'm very particular. I want it to taste as delicious as yours, hehe. And if you were to grill this dish, do you wrap it up in a foil? I'm thinking of making this coming week if I can. Thanks!
