Wordless Wednesday - NYC Sunset

Wednesday, April 29, 2015

While we were visiting with family recently, I took this photo from their apartment of the New York City skyline at sunset.

I used the same photo and made this picture using the Waterlogue app.

Have you tried this app yet?  I love making my photos look like paintings!

  6. What a gorgeous view to look at every day and night!
That painting look is amazing. My husband and I discovered just the other day that we can make characters with photos we take on our phone, it's pretty cool.

    Enjoy your day, Debbie

My heart skips beats! I would love to visit New York one day - it is on my bucket list!
I have stayed in the original medieval city of York in England, I imagine New York was named after it - I will ask Mr Goggle!

  16. What a wonderful city skyline view your family has! The watercolour app does a great rendition of the photo. I've had to read back a few posts to catch up with you Julie. I'm sorry to hear your grandmother recently passed away. What an amazing age she lived to though! She must have had some interesting stories to share with you of her life. It's always hard to say goodbye to such a dear family member though isn't it. I hope you're doing well, and have a nice evening.
