Makeup Monday - Rimmel Scandal Eyes Eyeliner

Monday, September 22, 2014

Welcome to Makeup Monday on Julie's Lifestyle.  Each Monday I will post about a certain type of makeup, nail polish, face or hair product etc.  It will be a fun place to come visit about anything to do with beauty.

Week 27 - Rimmel Scandal Eyes Eyeliner

Hi friends, and welcome back to Makeup Monday Week 27.  I hope you all enjoyed the pretty fall weekend we just had.  Today I'd like to share with you the new eyeliner I bought from Target.  I was so excited to try out this new eyeliner that my daughter has been using and liked so much.  It's called Rimmel Scandal Eyes Thick & Thin Eyeliner - waterproof.  This eyeliner looks fabulous on my teenage daughter and shows up nice and thick on her eyes.  I tried this eyeliner and it works well on my eyes when I use it with my eye primer from Urban Decay.  I usually use an eye crayon from Avon but thought it was fun to try out this type of eyeliner.  The eyeliner is similar to a thin magic marker.  I bought it in Target and paid $5.49 for it and it's available in most drug stores.  The color of the eyeliner is 001 Black.

Have you tried this eyeliner yet and did it work for you?

I have a blogger friend who blogs about makeup and beauty and I love all of her makeup reviews.  She writes about the latest makeup trends and is always honest about a product.  Kim has a fun blog and if you love makeup like I do then please visit Kim from A Very Sweet Blog when you get a chance!

Two weeks ago I did a blog post about Makeup Brushes and in case you missed that post you can see it HERE.  Last week Kim wrote a review on Sephora Makeup Brushes that might be helpful and to see that post you can click HERE.

Thanks everyone for stopping by today for Makeup Monday.  In case you missed any posts you can see them HERE.

  2. I need to use an eye primer too. This liner sounds like it would go on very easily. I've used the scandal eyes eye shadow crayon, and liked that a lot too.

  6. I don't wear as much eyeliner as I used to, but when I get all gussied up I do ;).

Brushes, when applying makeup, are every bit as important as good brushes when painting. Thanks for the resources Julie!

    Have a great week!

  10. Hi Julie,

The older I get, the less makeup I put on, (the amount I used to wear, which wasn't all that much, just makes me look like a clown, now!), but I still wear a tiny bit of eyeliner to give my eyes a teeny bit of drama, since my lashes are sparse. Thanks for the review and I'm sure this product looks lovely on you!

Have a great first week of fall!

  13. I'm having a hard time with eyeliner for the first time in my life. Evidently age is altering my eyelids and getting a fine line is no longer a breeze at all for me!

  14. Hi Julie!
I have wanted to visit you're make up Monday for some time now, how fun!
You know,I was just thinking last weekthat's should try an eye liner. I do not wear much make up, but thought an eye liner would give my eyes a lift. I must try this one you are speaking about.
    Wonderful post.
    Joy! Debbie

  15. We are big eyeliner fans over here...I have seen the Rimmel line, now you have me curious to give it a try. I have always wanted to try their Scandal Eyes mascara. Have you or your daughter ever tried that?

  16. I don't wear as much make up as I used to now we have moved to a hot, humid climate. This seems a good inexpensive option to test out in our weather. Must see if it is available in Australia and how much here. Fran
