Makeup Monday - Revlon Lip Balm Stain

Sunday, February 2, 2014

Welcome to Makeup Monday on Julie's Lifestyle.  Each Monday I will post about a certain type of makeup, nail polish, face or hair product etc.  It will be a fun place to come visit about anything to do with beauty.

                           Week 5
Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stain

Hi friends and welcome to Week 5 of my Makeup Monday series.  Today we are talking about lip stains.  For Christmas my daughter gave me this balm stain and I really like it.  The only problem was that that it was too dark for me (the one on the right) but I gave that to her (lucky daughter).  I bought for myself the pink one on the left.  It glides on nice and it stayed on throughout the day and it did not dry out my lips.  This is a great product if you are busy and on the run like myself and so I would suggest this lip balm.  You can find this in any drugstore for about $5.99 depending on where you shop.

Have you tried this lip balm stain yet?  I hope I have inspired you to try it out.

Don't forget to check back here next Monday to see what I will be sharing with you.

I am on Google +, Twitter, Ravelry and Pinterest.  My username is @brklynhousewife.  Please don't forget to follow me on Bloglovin too!  All of my crochet/knit creations and recipes are on my Pinterest Boards, so please have a look there also.

Thanks everyone and enjoy.

  1. I haven't tried this but it sounds like I should. I hardly ever wear anything on my lips since I don't have time to reapply often. This would eliminate the need for that. Thanks for sharing....:) Have a blessed week....Vicky

  7. I have wanted to try this, but was afraid it would be too drying because of the stain. Now I will try it - thanks for sharing! xo Karen

  8. I haven't tried a balm stain yet, but I have tried plain lip stains and find they really dry me out. I love the stay power of them but the color from the stain tends to settle into the cracks of my lips. It looks like the stain mixed in with a balm might solve that problem! Thanks for sharing this! :)

  15. I have never liked wearing lipstick (it feels too sticky to me), but I've found that I enjoy wearing lip stain, because it feels much more natural. Thanks for sharing at Inspire Us Thursday on Organized 31.

  18. What a nice gift from your daughter. It's a pity the shade was too dark for you. It's hard to buy makeup for other people.
