Makeup Monday - Maybelline Treatment Concealer

Monday, January 27, 2014

Welcome to Makeup Monday on Julie's Lifestyle.  Each Monday I will post about a certain type of makeup, nail polish, face or hair product etc.  It will be a fun place to come visit about anything to do with beauty.

Week 4
Maybelline Instant Age Rewind Eraser Dark Circle Treatment

This concealer is my all time favorite drug store makeup find.  It is goes on quick and it's easy to use.  You just twist the top by the cap and the concealer pops up in the sponge and then it makes it easy to apply underneath the eye area and it blends in well.  This also comes in many shades and the color I use is Fair #110 because I have light coloring.  The cost ranges between $7.99 to $9.99 depending on what drug store you shop at.

  1. I have wanted to try this concealer and now I will! I have been using Cover Girl concealer in a 'lipstick' applicator and I do like it because it is not greasy, yet not drying. Thank you for sharing - this helps me decide. xo Karen

  2. Thanks for sharing, Julie. I tend to have dark circles under my eyes, but hate putting a lot of makeup in that area. I think I will have to try this :) Have a blessed day, sweet friend!

  3. Hi Julie
I'm a Maybelline lady for over 30 years now. I try all the latest things but always seem to come back to old favorites. Maybelline mascara has always been my favorite. Thanks for sharing your awesome post with us at Wake Up Wednesday Linky Party.

  4. I use the Instant Age Rewind all over concealer, not the under eye version and I really like it. When I need to replace my under eye concealer I will probably try this one. One of my fave beauty blogger/YouTubers swears by it.

  5. Thanks for the review on the concealer, Julie. I will check for it at Target. Right now I'm using Garnier Skin Renew Anti Dark Circle roller. It's ok, but not great.

  6. I have the old stick cover up from Maybelline and it is so dry sometimes, even with tons of moisturizer underneath. I think I am going to try this, have seen it in the store and have been allured by the Age Rewind name! ;) I'll let you know how it goes!

  11. I've been wanting to try this as I've been using Benefit's Erase Paste for several years, but this is much cheaper and looks easier to apply. Thanks for the rec!

    Happy Friday :)

  12. I could not get that stuff to work well for me. You could still my circles. Mine are weird though. I have lighter ones not dark ones and then in the corner is where it looks bruised.

  14. I have tried another one by Maybelline like this but forgot the name - I like it but I recently found this new Almay one that comes in a little round container with a concealer and a brightner and really like that better. I think it is kind of new.
