Happy Thanksgiving

Sunday, November 24, 2013

Hi friends, I have a dog named Bosco that I usually take for long walks each morning and I took some pictures along the way last week that I would like to share with you.  You can see that the trees are losing leaves and changing colors.  In the distance you also can see the water and it's such a lovely walk in the morning.

There is a section that has benches that you can sit and watch the water and the boats going by.

You can see the pretty yellow and brown colors of the leaves and brown crisp leaves that have fallen off the trees.

There is still some green left on some of the bushes and plants and I love all the colors of fall.  Soon there will be no leaves left on the trees and everything will be bare.  Last Tuesday the weather was so cold here that we had snow, but it didn't stick for long on the ground.  This is a picture of my cute and sweet rescue dog and he's part Corgi and Dachshund and I think he likes his walks too.

Wishing you all a wonderful Thanksgiving and I hope you all enjoy spending time with family, friends and eating good food.  I'm so thankful for my family, friends and you my blog friends.  We will be spending the holiday here at home and have dinner later in the afternoon because my daughter will be doing community service at our local high school giving out Thanksgiving Dinner.  What will you be doing for Thanksgiving?  Let me know I would love to hear.

A special welcome to all my new followers to my blog and for the people that featured me last week on some of your blogs.  It means so much to me and it always makes me smile.

  3. The fall photos are so pretty ... what a great park area for your walk. Your little Bosco looks like a sweetheart. I'll bet he doesn't like to sit and watch the river as much as you do ;) Have a great Thanksgiving (we've already had ours back in Oct) ... and how nice that your daughter is helping out in the community that way. Take care! Wendy x

  7. You have a gorgeous place to walk your dog! I look forward to taking many walks when I am back on my feet full time. I joined your blog thru GFC. I'm looking forward to getting to know you too!

We're staying in for Thanksgiving and enjoying time with my husband's family. We even ordered a catered meal so we didn't have to do all the cooking this year :)

Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours!
