4th of July Drink

June 22, 2013

The 4th of July is less than 2 weeks away and I thought that I would share with you this fabulous drink for the 4th of July Holiday.

Doesn't it look so pretty with the layers of colors?  My daughter found out how to make this on YouTube named Bethany Moto.

Ingredients:

Here are the ingredients you will need to make this drink.

Sprite Zero, Cranberry Juice and Light Blue Frost Gatorade.

Directions:

First take a large glass and fill it to the top with ice cubes and then add your Cranberry Juice.  Next add the Sprite Zero and then the Gatorade.  To make the colors really stand out I added a little bit of red food coloring and blue food coloring.

Here you have your 4th of July Drink.  If you want to add any alcohol for the grown ups, you could add vodka.

I used a Mason Jar which is all the rage right now.  Try it out and have some fun!

Thanks everyone and enjoy.

  5. Can you use regular sprite or does it have to be zero?

  6. Hi Lauren, you have a great question. You can't use regular sprite because then the colors will mix together and you won't see the layers.

  17. Pretty. Do the drinks stay separated, or do they mix together after a few minutes?

    1. Hi Darla, it's probably a good idea to drink it fast so that they don't mix together and do not mix the drink either. Thanks for stopping by.
