Healthy Fresh Berry Salad

Wednesday, May 15, 2013

I love desserts and in my family we are trying to eat healthy.  Instead of eating ice cream or cake after a  meal I usually make a berry salad instead.  In the berry salad I add fresh cut up strawberries, blueberries, and blackberries.  It tastes so good and it's healthy for you.  I like to serve this with whipped cream and we just love it.  This is also a great dessert now that summer is approaching and it's easy to make!  You could also serve this with pound cake.  How about giving healthy fresh berries a try instead for dessert?

  2. Hi Julie, During summer I buy strawberries a lot, but we add it to our lunch packs as a snack, but when summer comes along in these parts, I will try this berry salad for sure!:)
