BROOKLYN CRAFT CAMP

Brooklyn Craft Camp

I am excited to say that I will be attending this Saturday, March 16th an all day craft camp hosted by Brett Bara.  In case you don't know who Brett Bara is, well she is a TV host, magazine editor, craft blogger, and author of the book Sewing in a Straight line.

The day is going to be a fun day and I will meet a lot of people in the craft world.  There will be all kinds of classes.  I will be taking these classes, crepe paper flowers, knit a chunky cowl, twisted crochet headband, and an embroidery class.

When you arrive there will be coffee and donuts for everyone, then I will take 2 classes, a gourmet lunch, 2 more classes, and then in the evening there will be a cocktail hour sponsored by West Elm.  They are also going to have a DIY nail art bar, a quick Craft-a-Day station with Sara Goldschadt, and a photo booth sponsored by Jimmy Beans Wool, and a Purl Pom Pom Bar.

The best part about this craft camp is that all of the supplies for the day are included in the package and at the end of the day they will have Giveaways, Goodie Bags and a Cocktail hour.

I will be taking as many pictures as I can of the event and I am looking forward to spending the day crafting and meeting new people.  I will give you all the details about the event next week.

Thanks everyone and enjoy.

Julie
